Transparent seal labels (also known as clear seals, tamper-evident seals, or security seals) are ultra-clear adhesive tapes die-cut into specific shapes. They are applied across the opening flaps of cartons, bags, or bottles to secure the contents.
Unlike paper labels, a transparent seal disappears on the packaging. It doesn't disrupt the brand's packaging design; instead, it provides a clean, professional finish while acting as a safety barrier. Q: Will the clear seal leave a sticky residue when the customer opens the box?
A: It depends on the structure you choose. Our Standard Permanent Seal will likely tear the box paper, but won't leave residue on the product. Our Pull-Tab Seal can be peeled off cleanly without residue if applied to smooth, coated surfaces. For zero residue, we recommend the pull-tab version.
Q: What is the "Void" option?
A: If someone tries to peel off the "Void" seal, the adhesive will split. A clear/white "VOID" message (or your custom pattern) will be left permanently on the packaging. This guarantees the product has not been previously opened or swapped.
Q: Will the clear label turn yellow over time?
A: Our standard PET and BOPP materials are UV-stabilized and will not yellow under normal indoor lighting conditions. If the packaging will be exposed to harsh direct sunlight for long periods, we offer specialized anti-UV clear films.
